The Bible

I don't know about you but the Bible has never come alive for me more than it does now when I read it. It doesn't feel like a 2000 year old book. It reads to me as it was written for right now. There is such power in Gods Word. Every time I open it whether its the Old or New Testament. I have been receiving comfort, given direction, have been challenge, and reminded how amazing our Jesus and Lord really are.
It's so easy to get distracted with the daily grind a life. We don't want to forget that God has His Hand in all of our lives. Here are some nuggets I want to share with you.

Romans 15:4-6
"For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.
May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had,
so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God an the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."

2 Timothy 3:14-17
"But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of , because you know those from whom you learned it,
and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scripture, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
All Scripture is God -breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
so that all God's people may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

I pray you find time to talk with Jesus today. Whether it be in a quiet time in the morning our little prayers through out your day. Don't forget he wants to hear from you. I also challenge you to open the Good Book and take a look and find out something new God wants to teach, remind, or encourage you today.

God Bless!
~Amy
