I hope everyone is having fun with your families as you prepare and start celebrating the birth of our Savior. I know I get caught up in the preparations and start loosing sight of the big picture sometimes. Stop and take a moment to remember to share the love to family and friends and to those we don't know but need a helping hand. We don't need the perfect gift or the Christmas decorations just so, all we need to do is keep it simple, sweet and our Savior first.
Today I going to take the time to read some Christmas books to my kids and explain the characters of the nativity they have been playing with for weeks now. I think I will even sit and make Christmas cards with them today too.

Super cute picture! Great idea about the nativity characters. I think I'll try that. Missed you at the mom's Christmas party last night. You just GOTTA make at least one mom's night. We miss you!
